The Got Milk? Chief Health Officer Tour stops at Horton Plaza on Thursday, July 3 from 11:00a to 2:00p.
 
Got Milk? wants to reward and recognize local moms for being the gatekeepers of their family's health and nutrition.

In their search for San Diego's Chief Health Officer, Horton Plaza is hosting free, interactive community events.

Westfield Horton PlazaMom’s can enter the Chief Health Officer Contest and Sweepstakes. After, pose for a Milk Mustache photo souvenir, sample low fat and fat free milk from local dairies, win various prizes, exercise tips from fitness experts, and speak with a local registered dietitian about the importance of milk's role in the diet.

San Diego Downtown4th of July Celebration

Wow! Our skies come alive with color! Celebrate our independence by viewing a spectacular fireworks show over San Diego Bay!

At 9:00p, tune your radio to FM 92.5 and listen to 20-minutes of synchronized music perfectly timed with the beautiful explosions in the night sky.

The most technically advanced pyrotechnics will be fired off from four barges located near Harbor Island, Shelter Island, B Street Pier, and Embarcadero Marina Park North. Look to the south for additional fireworks over Coronado Glorietta Bay.

Any location with a view of the bay is ideal for watching!

San Diego Pride ParadeCelebration in the Diverse Community!

The San Diego LGBT Pride Parade is the 8th largest in the United States.

The Parade is Saturday, July 19. It begins at 11:00a and follows University Avenue (Hillcrest) to southbound 6th Avenue, turning on Balboa Drive.

View an exuberant caravan of lavish floats, drag mavens in fancy duds, dykes on bikes, dignitaries in convertibles, civic organizations, and colorful displays of pride amid music and dancing.
