• 7-5, 2:00-3:00p. House of USA. A program of traditional music, songs, and dance. Popular ethnic dishes will be served. International Cottages.

• 7-7 & 7-8, noon-4:00p. Flower Show: Exotic Plants. Room 101 Casa del Prado.

• 7-7, 7:00p. Full Moon Encircle. Come and experience holistic view of indigenous healing traditions and methods of awareness. Centro Cultural de la Raza @ 2125 Park Blvd.

• 7-11, 10:00a-3:30p. Pet Adoption. Selected animals are available for adoption. Lawn area at President's Way and Pan American Plaza.

• 7-11 & 7-12, 10:00a-4:00p.  Art Mart. Talented artists display their creations. Lawn area near the Federal Building.

• 7-12, 2:00-3:00p. House of France. A program of traditional music, songs, and dance. Popular ethnic dishes will be served. International Cottages.

• 7-17, 7:00-10:00p. LGBT Pride Equity Rally. Listen to speakers regarding issues in support of lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and transvestites. Music and cocktails will accompany the event. Marston Point (west side of Balboa Park near 6th & Laurel/Balboa Dr).

• 7-18 & 7-19, noon-4:00p. Flower Show: Orchids. Room 101 Casa del Prado.

• 7-19, 2:00-3:00p. House of Columbia. A program of traditional music, songs, and dance. Popular ethnic dishes will be served. International Cottages.

• 7-24, 8:00-10:00p. Screen on the Green: A series of short films. Bring a blanket to sit on. Arrive early as seating is limited to 1,000 guests. Lawn area in front of the Botanical Building near the Lily Pond.

• 7-25, 11:00a. Family Storytelling. Storyteller Harlynne Geisler weaves fun and fanciful tales in front of selected masterpieces at the museum. The program for children ages 5 and up teaches the whole family creative ways to learn about art. Timken Museum of Art.

• 7-25, 11:30a-12:30p. Memorial Service. A monthly memorial service to honor of current veterans and for veterans of past wars. Taps will be played. Veterans Museum & Memorial Center.

• 7-25 & 7-26, 11:00a-4:00p. Art Mart. Talented artists display their creations. Lawn area near the Federal Building.

• 7-25 & 7-26, noon-4:00p. Turtle and Tortoise Show: Learn about the difference between a turtle and a tortoise and see the beautiful designs on the shells of these magnificent creatures. Room 101 Casa del Prado.

• 7-26, 2:00-3:00p. House of Lithuania. A program of traditional music, songs, and dance. Popular ethnic dishes will be served. International Cottages.

• 7-30, 8:00-10:00p. Screen on the Green: The Adventures of Baron Munchausen. It's a story of fantasy and tall tales. Bring a blanket to sit on. Arrive early as seating is limited to 1,000 guests. Lawn area in front of the Botanical Building near the Lily Pond.

Balboa Park San DiegoBalboa Park Tours - tours leave from Balboa Park Visitors Center, 1549 El Prado, Suite #1

• Architectural Heritage Tours. First Wednesday of each month at 9:30a. One-hour tour highlighting the Spanish Colonial architecture. Meets at the Balboa Park Visitors Center.

• Ranger-led Tours. Every Tuesday and Saturday at 1:00p. One-hour tour covering the historical and botanical treasures of Balboa Park. Meets at the Balboa Park Visitors Center.

• Offshoot Tours. Every Saturday at 10:00a. Tour themes include Balboa Park history (first Saturdays of the month), palm trees (second Saturdays), other trees in the Park (third Saturdays), desert vegetation (fourth Saturdays), and every fifth Saturday offers the tour del dia (exploring the Park’s Palisades area). Easy-paced one-hour tour. Meets at the Balboa Park Visitors Center.
